Must-See Before Playing

Solitr is an engaging online card game based on the classic solitaire, offering a relaxing yet challenging experience. Perfect for unwinding after a hectic day, Solitr lets you focus on strategy and enjoyment without worrying about cleaning up, as it’s entirely digital!

How to Play Solitr

The goal of Solitr mirrors that of the traditional Solitaire game: you need to move all the cards to the four foundation piles located in the top-right corner of the screen, leaving no cards remaining on the board.

The rules are simple—organize the cards in each pile in ascending order, from King to Ace, within the same suit. Once you complete an ordered stack, you can place those cards in the foundation piles. At the top-left corner, there is a hidden stockpile. You can choose to reveal either one or three cards at a time, but only one card is available for play at once.

Your strategy will involve carefully placing the revealed stockpile card onto one of the seven tableau columns, depending on whether it fits into the ascending order. You can move cards between the tableau columns or into the four foundations. Keep in mind that the tableau allows only alternating colors for cards to be stacked in descending order.

For the foundations, the cards must be placed in the same suit in ascending order, from Ace to King. In the tableau, the cards need to follow an alternating color pattern, stacked from King down to Ace. Additionally, if a tableau column is empty, it can only be filled by a King, regardless of its suit.

Since the deck is shuffled randomly, you'll need to think strategically to identify the correct moves as you uncover cards one by one. This is the core challenge of Solitr.

You can move both single cards and groups of cards within the tableau, but you can only move cards from the waste pile. Any time a face-down card in the tableau is exposed, it will automatically turn face-up, giving you more options to play.
