How to Play Motherload

Mine Deep Beneath the Surface

Your objective is to dig down into the planet\'s crust, collect valuable resources, and transport them back to the surface to sell at the mineral processing plant.

Refuel and Sell Your Finds

At the beginning, your mining vehicle will have limited range, meaning you\'ll need to resurface often to refuel and sell the minerals you’ve gathered.

Upgrade Your Equipment

As you progress, you’ll earn money to buy upgrades for your vehicle. These can include enhancements for your fuel tank, cargo capacity, drill, engine, hull, and radiator. Upgrades are available at the junk shop, located near the emendation station where you can also repair your hull. Special items like spare fuel tanks and explosives can be found here as well.

Discover Rare Resources and Artifacts

Once your vehicle is upgraded, you can venture deeper into the planet\'s core to find rare and valuable minerals like platinum and emeralds. At around -1000 feet, you’ll also encounter ancient religious artifacts that provide a quick cash boost of $50,000 each.

Motherload Tips

• Deeper levels hide rarer treasures, including religious artifacts. Try to reach these depths as soon as possible.
• Bring extra fuel tanks to extend your mining expeditions and avoid running out of energy.
• Take advantage of your vehicle’s flying ability to minimize fall damage when digging downward.
• Be cautious of running out of fuel, as this will cause your vehicle to explode.
