The game kicks off with your character, Henry Stickman, imprisoned in a lonely cell, guarded by mocking security. A mysterious package is delivered to you, marking the beginning of the game’s central theme—choice. As a puzzle game, your decisions directly affect your progress and determine whether you truly have a shot at escaping. Along the way, you’ll also uncover more about your character and the bank robbery that landed you behind bars in the first place.

The initial package contains a cake, and inside are several items you can choose from. You can pick from an energy drink, a teleporter, or a cell phone—each with different outcomes depending on your choice.

If you opt for the teleporter, Henry successfully escapes from prison, but things take a deadly turn when he materializes directly in the line of fire at a shooting range, where he becomes an easy target.
